Orange Wine
Despite the name, orange wine is not made with oranges but with grapes and is a revival of ancient wine making. Whereas the normal process for white wine making involves crushing the grapes and quickly removing the skins, orange wine is made with the skins. The process involves using white grapes and using the same fermentation process as red wine. This gives it its distinctive orange colour with extra tannins, texture and weight.
